Generate Electricity From the Sun with Capture Energy

Nathan Billings, Technical Director of Cornish based Capture Energy Ltd, will deliver a talk centered around generating your own electricity within your home. The use of photovoltaic panels to generate electricity is becoming more widespread and this presentation will allow you to see whether they may be right for you. Capture will cover all of the important issues such as the Feed in Tariff incentives, what type of panels there are and how do they differ, is your site suitable and what does an installation look like.

If you know nothing about this technology or already have done some research come and learn more about how you can generate electricity from the sun.

10 Steps to No Heating Bills with Ecohouse

How happy would you be moving into your new home in the month of November knowing it had no central heating?

A couple in Mylor Bridge, whose stunning creekside home has been designed and built by Cornwall based company Ecohouse, were very excited at the prospect.

And even through our particularly cold winter this year, they have been delighted with the outstanding performance of their home in terms of its energy efficiency.

The house has been built to a very high standard, including large amounts of insulation, airtight construction and optimum solar gain. Its only heating requirement is a small woodburner for the coldest evenings.

In this seminar, Ten Steps to No Heating Bills, Ecohouse director Robin van der Bij explains how to design a new home with absolute minimal space heating needs.
